Danxia Landform, Zhangye, is located in Nantaizi Village, Nijiaying Township, Linze, 40 kilometers away from Zhangye. Within the 100 square kilometers of hilly country, there is Danxia Landform with strange shape, bright color and tremendous momentum. Danxia means separate peaks and precipitous fantastic rocks formed by long weathering, stripping and water erosion. The Danxia form was bred in Jurassic Period and the tertiary period about 2 million years ago.
